TIP! In order to make it easier to slice meat into thin strips, you should first marginally freeze the meat. This is a good way to cut strips for Asian dishes, such as Chinese and Thai.

When buying a recipe’s ingredients, read the labels. Cooking staples can be full of not-so-nice things that can spoil your health. Check the sugar and sodium levels in the ingredient, as over consumption of these items can cause health problems in certain people.

To prep a pumpkin for cooking, set the pumpkin upright, and then cleave it down the center, effectively cutting it into two halves. Lay both halves upon separate baking sheets cut side down. Lightly sprinkle a bit of water over the pans, then bake the pumpkin for about one hour in an oven heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
